Sunset Park Open Studios 2025 (SPOS) is a multi-day arts celebration of exhibitions, events, and open studios throughout Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Featuring hundreds of participating artists and art-spaces, SPOS is free and open to the public, and will be held from Friday, October 17th through Sunday, October 19th, 2025. Throughout the weekend SPOS will welcome visitors to meet artists, curators and researchers from around the globe, and experience the beauty and diversity of the artistic process in both studio environments and institutional contexts alike.

Registration for SPOS 2025 is open through Wednesday, August 27th. Please note that your studio, organization, or location of your event, should be within the blocks of Prospect Ave to 65th St, and between 1st Ave and 5th Ave. Locations that do not fall within this area are not eligible to participate.

This year organizations, groups, and collectives will be asked to pay a registration fee. This registration fee goes directly to supporting the event and making it more accessible for individual artists to register.

Sunset Park Wide Open (SPWO) is dedicated to celebrating and supporting the creative community of Sunset Park, Brooklyn. SPOS invites hundreds of visitors to explore the creative energy of Sunset Park, offering direct access to artists’ studios, collaborative art spaces, and diverse cultural organizations. Sunset Park Open Studios (SPOS) was founded in 2019 by the NARS Foundation and a coalition of local arts organizations as a grassroots initiative to provide public access to the studios and creative spaces of Sunset Park. What began as a neighborhood-driven celebration has grown into a beloved annual tradition, showcasing the vibrant cultural life of the area.

In 2023, Sunset Park Wide Open (SPWO) was established to carry forward and expand this work. SPWO is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the neighborhood’s artists and cultural workers—SPOS continues to thrive through collaboration, accessibility, and a deep commitment to honoring the creative work rooted in Sunset Park.
